Sometimes, those poetic lines that are meant to ignite your heart can actually injure. It's a confusing thing, how feelings can be both healed and hurt by the very same medium. Perhaps it's because truth often appears wrapped in a cloak of poetry. Or maybe it's just that vulnerability makes us exposed to anguish, no matter how kind the sender's go
